​We carry in our job trailer a machine to make custom elbows for your downspouts and custom offsets in your downspouts to go around deck railings and other architectural details.  We have this so we do not have to use unmatched offsets or spray paint other colored offsets to get the job done.  This also means when a downspout has to go around a corner or in an odd angle we can do it out of the same material as your downspouts.  That way your downspouts and offsets weather and fade at the same rate giving you a better looking longer lasting product! Don't settle for Spray Painted downspouts and offsets,  call Gurgis Gutters today to get the job done right.

In Montana we have many different weather conditions.  For much of Montana we get a lot of snow and ice buildup.  This can be for many reasons,  you could have a part of your roof that gets Sun on the top but not on the lower areas.  This causes the snow on the top to melt and run down the roof and re freeze causing an ice dam.  Also you could be losing heat from the ceiling in your house into your attic which then heats the bottom side of the roof and causes the snow to melt and run to a lower area that is colder.  Proper insulation and ventilation is the key to solving this problem.  However if you cannot get into the attic or if you have a vaulted ceiling you may not be able to go this route.  This is when heat cable comes into play.  Heat Cable will melt the ice that forms at the bottom of the roof and let it run into the gutters.  Then the Heat Cable in the gutter and downspouts will let it run to the bottom of the downspout and away from your house.  The Heat Cable should extend a little out the end of the downspout. Always make sure your Heat Cable has GFI protection!  We recommend a Heat Cable GFI end plug kit on all installs.  When we do the job we will not do it any other way.  Also make sure your Heat Cable has the proper mounting clips.  See our Products We Use page to see the Heat Cable mounting clip.  ​

This seamless elbow was made on our machine.  Otherwise there would be a short piece coming out of the gutter!

6 INCH GUTTERS HANDLE MORE WATER!

We have a 6 inch gutter machine that can make HUGE gutters for large roofs or areas where all of the water comes down in a small area.  These 6 inch gutters are the same K style, just bigger.  We can do our 6 inch gutters in all of the factory colors and in 24 gauge for extra strength applications.  These gutters will hold twice the water of a 5 inch gutter.
